Although it may not feel like the winter season is here yet, before you know it, it’ll be time to start decking the halls and spreading holiday cheer. If you want to plan ahead on your winter calendar, then be sure to check out some of these events!

Where: Florida State Fairgrounds
What: Want to get a head start on your holiday shopping? The Junior league Holiday Gift Market is the perfect chance! Over 200 vendors will gather for this fundraising event, offering everything from clothing and jewelry to artwork and food. You’ll likely find something for even the pickiest person on your gift list.
When: November 8th – 10th
Where: Tamp Convention Center
What: Home design, renovation, decor, and more—the Tampa Bay Home + Holiday Show is focused on all things home-related. Come check out tons of vendors, talk face-to-face with leading professionals, and attend a few workshops and seminars. The best part? You can sip on a glass of your favorite wine the whole time!
When: November 17th, 6pm – 9pm
Where: Center Court
What: Ring in the beginning of the holiday season at Symphony in Lights! The one-of-a-kind celebration will feature tons of holiday lights, falling snow, and seasonal festivities, all set to the iconic sounds of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra.
When: November 22nd – January 5th
Where: Curtis Hixon Park
What: Downtown Tampa comes alive with lights and cheer at Curtis Hixon Park’s Winter Village. For more than a month, the popular park transform into a holiday getaway, complete with lights, music, shops, and and ice skating rink. Plus, the TECO Line Streetcar transforms into the Winter Village Express (filled with goodies and activities), so it’s easy to get around!
When: Select weekends from November 29th – December 23rd
Where: Tampa Zoo
What: The Tampa Zoo goes all out for the holiday season. Their 50-foot tree is the star of the show, decorated with 12,000 lights, 2,000 ornaments, and an 8-foot star! You can also wander through Santa’s Village, enjoy seasonal shopping, and, of course, say hi to the animals.
When: November 22nd – December 29th
Where: Tropicana Field
What: The ultimate holiday experience, the Enchant Christmas Holiday Market has it all, including the World’s Largest Christmas Light Maze, the local and international Christmas Market, the ice skating trail, and a smorgasbord of seasonal goodies.
When: December 6th, 6pm
Where: Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park
What: Before the holiday season really ramps up, come out for Tampa’s official tree lighting ceremony. Take part in the countdown, watch the lighting, then hang around for a free movie in the park.
